A wonderful place to work, visit & shop.
Prominently located at the south-west corner of Oak Park Avenue and Lake Street, in Oak Park, Illinois, Scoville Square is a 4+ story, 72,000 square foot National Register Building with first floor retail space and office space on the upper floors.
Built-in 1905 by the Scoville Family, a founding family of Oak Park, and designed by E. E. Roberts, Scoville Square is rich in architectural detail as well as history. One of the few examples of Prairie-style architecture applied to a commercial building, Scoville Square’s impressive lobby features a monumental oak staircase, marble wainscoting, and leaded art glass windows. The building was originally home to the Masons and then to Gilmore’s Department.
